Brahmastra: Shooting Of Trailer Announcement Promo Delayed As Ranbir Kapoor Tests Positive For Coronavirus - REPORT

It was a few days ago that Neetu Kapoor confirmed that Ranbir Kapoor is Coronavirus positive. On her Instagram, she revealed that Ranbir is on the path of recovery and is quarantining at home. Naturally, shooting of all his projects has come to a halt. Which means, his film Brahmastra directed by Ayan Mukerji and starring Alia Bhatt as the leading lady has also been stopped. Brahmastra has been in the making for years and Ranbir testing positive for COVID-19 has resulted in another hiccup for the film.
 
As reported by Bollywood Hungama, a source revealed that the team of Brahmastra was going to shoot for a promo for the trailer announcement of the film. But again it has been postponed. "Since this was the last schedule, the marketing team of Brahmastra had decided to shoot a brief promo with Ranbir Kapoor. The idea was to announce the release date of this much awaited big budget movie with the promo. They had planned to shoot the video with Ranbir just a few days before the wrap up. Now that Ranbir has tested positive for the virus, even their plan is on hold," the source said.

Now only when Ranbir Kapoor is fully recovered, the shooting of the film will begin again, stated the source.

Brahmastra is Ayan Mukerji's dream project that also stars Amitabh Bachchan and South Superstar Nagarjuna in pivotal roles.
